The Mercedes stand was a busy one at the Geneva Motor Show. Not only was there the facelifted E-Class and new A45 AMG, but the CLA four-door saloon finally made its European premiere.
The CLA is essentially a mini CLS, and is the third car to be based on the same platform as the new A-Class.
Mercedes claims that it's the most aerodynamic production car in the world and, along with the A-Class, Mercedes is hoping that this model will help attract younger buyers to the brand.
For the UK there will be a choice of just two engines. The CLA 180 is a 120bhp petrol engine and we've just driven the sole diesel option - the CLA 220 CDI. This 2.1-litre engine produces 168bhp and 350Nm.
The Mercedes CLA is available to order now for first deliveries in June, with prices starting from around £24,000.
