VW Amarok Dark Label revealed

Volkswagen has unveiled a special edition of the Amarok pick-up at the the Frankfurt Motor Show

This is the Volkswagen Amarok Dark Label, a special edition of the go-anywhere pick-up from VW, which has just been unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show.

Based on the Amarok Trendline, this special edition features exclusive dark add-on parts such as 18-inch Durban alloy wheels, tinted rear side windows, blackened B-pillars, smoked rear lights, LED-illumination for the number plate and design stripes.

The Amarok Dark Label also features black door handles, mirrors, rear bumper and styling bars, with the protective undertray at the front offset in silver.

Inside, you’ll find Alcantara covered seats, which are exclusive to this special edition model, along with velour floor mats, heated front seats, RCD 310 radio and multifunction steering wheel.

The Dark Label is only available as double cab and comes with the same 121bhp or 178bhp 2.0-litre diesel engine you’ll find on standard models.

Order books for the Amarok Dark Label will open in November with the special edition model demanding a £5,000 premium over the current range-topper, with prices starting from around £30,000. First deliveries are expected early 2014.
