The wraps are off Porsche’s new Cayman! Only two months after the launch of the performance- focused Sport S, our spies have captured the next version of the car carrying out final tests – completely undisguised!

Like most recent Porsche upgrades, the latest version of the mid-range coupé doesn’t look that different from the outgoing model.

hanges include new LED daytime running lights, reshaped air intakes and a restyled front bumper. The foglamps have also had to be moved round to accommodate the new bumper. A slightly modified rear bumper and LED tail-lights complete the updates at the back.

The Cayman will be built by Valmet Automotive in Finland until 2012, when it moves to Porsche’s new Austrian plant. Engine details are being kept secret, but expect the coupé to cover 0-60mph in less than six seconds and exceed 150mph. It should cost around £36,000 from launch early next year.
