Ever since the sixties, Jaguar has been living in the shadow of its legendary E-Type sports car. That is, until now.
The brand-new Jaguar F-Type is nearly here, and although we’re yet to get behind the wheel, we have been treated to a ride alongside chief engineer, Mike Cross.
There will be three engine choices when the F-Type arrives in April. The entry-level 335bhp, 3.0-litre V6 will cost from £58,500 while the 375bhp V6 S will start at £67,500. The flagship V8 S sits at the top of range and packs 488bhp – with prices starting at £79,950.
It’ll be another couple of months before we’re allowed to drive the F-Type, but initial impressions are very good indeed. Check out the video for Jack Rix’s thoughts on the most important Jaguar in over half a century.
