For a city car, there’s a surprising amount of space in the back of the Picanto. The cabin is narrow, yet legroom is good, and even six-footers won’t struggle with head space. There are also three seats; the 107 caters for

The Picanto has the larger boot, with 157 litres of luggage room. It’s not as long or wide as the 107’s, but the space is more user friendly, as it has a lower lip and wider opening, so loading is far easier.

Alloys aren’t available on this mid-spec Ice model – even as an option. You have to spend £1,000 more and upgrade to Picanto 3 specification to get them. These plastic trims look quite smart, though.
