Honda Accord (MkVI)

Overall Average Rating - 82.38%
Position in the Top 100 cars - 90th

Regarded as one of the cars that helped revitalise Honda’s image in the Nineties, the dated Accord isn’t growing old gracefully.

Despite appearing in the bottom 10 of Driver Power for the first time, its ratings have one highlight. A position of 18th for reliability is a score that most of Honda’s rivals would love, and it speaks volumes for the engineering of the model.

Ratings

Position in the Top 100 cars
Reliability: 18th
Build Quality: 47th
Running Costs: 90th
Performance: 83rd
Braking: 92nd
Ride Quality: 69th

Manufacturer Verdict (Position - 5th)

Bosses will be concerned to see Honda drop two places in the manufacturer chart. The Top 100 podium eluded the Accord and Civic, so all hope will rest on the latest Jazz boosting the firm’s ranking next year.
