Volkswagen Passat (Old)

Overall Average Rating - 81.36%
Position in the Top 100 cars - 94th

But the most disappointing result is the Passat’s 94th for reliability. Given that VW prides itself on its attention to detail and robust engineering, this simply isn’t good enough.

Manufacturer Verdict (Position - 16th)

It’s tough for high-volume makers to stay at the top here, yet VW has climbed one place. The MkVI Golf will be included in the 2010 poll, and bosses will hope it will lift the firm further ahead of its rivals.
