The Octavia vRS 230 adds the equivalent of the Golf GTI's Performance Pack to the fast Skoda.

The upgrades amount to a 10bhp jump in power, new exhaust, bigger brakes, and a limited-slip differential.

Inside the Octavia vRS 230 gets gloss black trim, leather sports seats and standard sat-nav.

The trip computer adds a lap timer.

The upgrades to the Octavia vRS add £2,250 to the price of the car regardless of gearbox or body style.

As before, a six-speed manual gearbox is standard, with a six-speed DSG automatic as an option.
