A4 and A5 power up

Audi give new engines to its compact exec and coupe ranges.

It’s all change for fired-up Audi! Fresh engines have been added to the A4 (above) and A5 ranges.

Both models can now be ordered with an all-new 208bhp 2.0-litre T FSI unit, which has 350Nm of torque. It propels the cars from 0-60mph in 6.9 seconds – quicker than a VW Golf GTI – while returning 42.8mpg fuel economy and emitting 154g/km of CO2.

Prices start at £24,625 for the A4, with the A5 from £28,760. The A4 also gets a new 118bhp 2.0-litre TDI diesel engine, with 134g/km emissions, from £22,625.
