Skoda Fabia Scout

New off road evolution Fabia tipped to star at this year's Geneva Motor Show.

Skoda’s Fabia is growing up! Joining the off-road trail blazed by the Octavia and Roomster is is the all-new Fabia Scout. And it heads an impressive list of new Skoda’s including the VW Tiguan-based Yeti due to be revealed in Geneva on March 3rd.

While the concept car made its debut in Frankfurt two year’s ago, these renderings give us the best look yet at what the show car will look like.

Apart from raised ground clearance over the standard Fabia, the A4 all-road and Saab 9-3X rival, the Scout will receive a serious rugged makeover. That means expect flared wheel arches, grey protective side panels, bigger wheels, new front and rear bumpers and a larger boot - it will not be four-wheel drive though.

As expected, this new model will share a lot of parts with Fabia Wagon, so expect to see the same units powering the Scout which means there will be two petrol and two TDI engines. It is also likely both interiors will share many similarities.

Further details and a full pricelist and a launch date will be available after the cars launch so make sure to check back on autoexpress.co.uk during the Geneva show to keep up-to-date with all the latest news.
