Mercedes-AMG GLA 45 Yellow Night Edition 2017 review - pictures
This is the Mercedes-AMG GLA 45 Yellow Night Edition.
Once upon a time this type of car would have been classed as a needless niche-filling car. However, SUVs continue to grow in popularity and so too dos the demand for higher performance models.

The Yellow Night edition will cost you a staggering £53k, and most likely the respect of your petrol head friends...
The many yellow decals continue on the inside. The steering wheel, seats, and vents have all received the minion-enticing treatment.

If you watch the speedo for long enough, it will charge all the way round to 155mph.
Even excluding the yellow accents, the interior isn't as well-resolved as Mercedes' newer designs.

The infotainment screen is fortunately devoid of a yellow casing.
The gearbox is a seven-speed dual-clutch, which AMG has shortened the ratios of the top 5 gears to increase acceleration.

Even though the front seats suggested a great driving experience, the AMG GLA offers no more fun than the Ford Focus RS - which is £20,000 less.
While there are rear seats, the £53,000 price tag puts it up against the Porsche Macan, which is without a doubt a better all-rounder.
