While the Polestar 1 will properly arrive in 2019 (on a subscription service), it will sadly only be available as a left-hand drive.
Although Polestar is now a standalone brand from <a href="https://www.autoexpress.co.uk/volvo">Volvo</a>, the design of the rear gives it’s a definite vibe of contemporary Volvos.

The total claimed torque the tyres need to put down is a massive 1,000Nm.
The Polestar 1 is to be manufactured at a new facility in China, which will most likely produce the <a href="https://www.autoexpress.co.uk/volvo/101366/polestar-2-to-arrive-as-right-hand-drive-ev-in-2020-with-polestar-3-to-follow">Pole

In the first year of production Polestar plan to manufacture 500 1s. These will be available through a new subscription service, similar to that with which the XC40 is available.
The subscription service rolls car ownership into one monthly payment (including insurance and maintenance). At the end of the subscription, the car will be replaced with a new one.
