One of the cheapest cars on test, the Carrera has the best battery life and takes an hour to recharge. But it didn’t work on grass and felt a little flimsy. There’s no proportional steering, either – the controller only lets you reverse, accelerate, steer hard right or steer hard left. As speed was limited, too, we couldn’t overlook these concerns.
