Carrera Evolution Formula Engines review

Carrera won’t be happy to see its F1 set languishing at the bottom of our table.

Overall Auto Express rating

2.0

Carrera won’t be happy to see its F1 set languishing at the bottom of our table, but we were a bit disappointed with it. While the pieces themselves are brilliantly built, the circuit takes ages to put together, as you have to insert two separate bits at every connection.

The layout doesn’t have a bridge or hairpin bend, and instead features two lane-change sections. We liked the wireless controllers, and the detailed Ferrari F2012 and Red Bull RB8 racers, but that wasn’t enough.
