This is the BMW X4 M40i - a new range-topper for the X4 range.
Underneath the hood of the X4 M40i lies a 3.0-litre straight-six engine that's been tweaked by BMW's M division.
Although it's not a full-fat M car, the X4 M40i produces 355bhp and will sprint from 0-62mph in just under five seconds.
The BMW X4 M40i also gains stiffer suspension and a rear bias to the four-wheel-drive system.
The steering is crisp and the eight-speed automatic gearbox is quick to change ratio.
Sadly for us, BMW currently has no plans to bring the X4 M40i to the UK - due to our lack of demand for petrol-powered SUVs.
