Hot on the heels of the brand new XE, Jaguar has released a new version of the XF, arguably the car that created the modern-day Jaguar.
Jaguar's engineers have been working on the formula that made the XF successful and tweaking the areas you'd expect.

The new XF is lighter, has a wealth of new technology, is roomier and has a range of new, more efficient engines.
The car pictured is in posh Portfolio trim and won't be available in the UK with the powerful 3.0 TDV6 diesel we're driving here.

The TDV6 diesel will only be available in the UK in sporty S trim - which adds a unique bodykit and adaptive dampers.
The 2.0-litre Ingenium diesel is likely to be the big seller, with its fleet-friendly emissions.

The XF handles beautifully and easily rivals the 5-Series.
For buyers wanting a fast version, the 3.0-litre supercharged V6 from the F-Type makes an appearance.

The TDV6 offers 51.4mpg economy while the 3.0 V6 offers a still impressive 34mpg.
