British Eco Solar Freeloader

We liked the design of this unit – it’s only slightly larger than a packet of cigarettes. It claims to revive a mobile in five hours via the solar panel, but that’s a bit ambitious. You’d need serious sun for proper charging. Still, a USB lead is included for powering up from the mains, which takes about three hours. There are 11 adaptors (nothing specifically iPod) and an 18-inch flying lead which worked with our gadgets.
