Large, sharp, white-on-black display marks out this pricey Michelin gauge from rivals here, and it works well. It measures in four scales, and the built-in tread gauge has metric and Imperial figures. Comfortable to use, but it takes a few seconds to get a reading – although all were 100 per cent accurate.
