There’s a lot to like about Meguiar’s Bug and Tar Remover – not least its powerful cleaning. It rapidly dissolved our contaminants, making them easy to wipe away. It’s our pick of the cleaners, with the formula resembling a liquid polish – although this is also why it’s not further up the rankings. It works well over large panels like bodywork, but on grilles it’s time-consuming to remove the white overspray.
