Google Maps is free and comes with most Android phones. Providing you have decent signal, Google is everything you need in a sat-nav. Features like Street View and hybrid mode – where the route is superimposed on aerial photos – are impressive. Even so, there aren’t as many automotive functions as driving-focused apps and offline mode is limited.
