It might miss out on the top spot, but the SPH-DA120 is still a brilliant CarPlay-enabled head unit. It does little else, as it was made with iOS hardware in mind, so it has no CD player or digital radio. But it’s cheaper than its AVIC-F70DAB sister model as a result, and most of these features can be realised within the Apple mirroring software. Keeping it simple will be good news for some, as this is the cheapest way of getting CarPlay.
