New Aston Martin Vanquish S 2017 review - pictures

The Aston Martin Vanquish has for a long time been a mainstay of the GT world. Offering style, performance and luxury, it has proved popular over the years, however it has not been without fault.

The Vanquish S is the last outing for the delicious naturally aspirated 6.0-litre V12.

It doesn’t matter if you opt for the coupe or the convertible; you get the same 0-62mph time and top speed of 201mph.

Tax for the first year is the same as a small second-hand hatchback - £2,000. Which may sound a lot, but is only 1 per cent of the list price, so if you look at it that way it is a bargain...

Non-S models lost approximately 55 per cent after three years of ownership, and we expect the S models to similar. 

Even though beauty is in the eye of the beholder, few can argue the Vanquish isn’t a sight for sore eyes. The tweaks to the bodywork are there to reduce lift and increase head turns.
