The Hyundai Genesis is a success in Asia, can it be replicated in Europe against the likes of BMW, Audi and Mercedes?

The Genesis is Hyundai's flagship model. 

Inside the dashboard looks very similar to the dashboard fitted to the BMW 5 Series. 

The Genesis is well porportioned and looks fairly handsome. 

The centre console layout is almost identical to the BMW 5 Series. 

The fit and finish inside the Genesis is the best of any Hyundai to date.  

The Genesis is offered with a 3.8-litre V6 engine, which makes no more than a whisper of noise when cruising. 

Due to having a panoramic roof, headroom is a little compromised and therefore people over six-foot tall will struggle. 

The Genesis costs a hefty £47,995.

The standard car is offered with air suspension and it soaks up bumps nicely. 

Boot space is 493 litres and has accessed via a powered bootlid.
