The driving experience is agreeable, its size makes it manageable around town, the dash-mounted gearshift swapping ratios easily and the high driving position aiding all-round visibility in traffic. The ride is composed but engine refinement is lacking - particularly from the diesel engine. It's got plenty of character and decent economy, but it needs working hard, the petrol engines delivering a more relaxed drive. Compromised compared to MPV rivals, but still a worthwhile consideration if you're after a well-priced and equipped alternative to a family hatchback.
