<p class="p1">The Mercedes&nbsp;CLA is a four-door coupe version of the A-Class hatchback.</p>

<p class="p1">The CLA's main rival is the Audi A3 saloon, and it certainly beats the Audi in terms of styling.</p>

<p class="p1">Sharp handling comes with a very firm and crashy ride, but the cabin is well insulated from road noise.&nbsp;</p>

<p class="p1">With its head-turning looks, the CLA looks like a shrunken version of the Mercedes CLS.&nbsp;</p>

<p class="p1">Engines include 1.6- and 2.0-litre petrols with 205bhp and 350bhp (the CLA 45 AMG) power outputs, and one 2.1-litre diesel with 134bhp and 175bhp outputs.</p>

<p class="p1">Like the CLS there is also a CLA Shooting Brake model, plus a top of the range AMG model.</p>
