Morgan Super 3 gains roof in new Orlebar Brown collaboration

Morgan tie-up with fashion brand will see one-off Super 3 tour Europe

A new one-off Morgan Super 3 has been revealed, which the British brand says is an ultimate ‘holiday ready’ version of its new three-wheeler - not quite in time for the summer.

It’s called the OB x Morgan Super 3, and it has been created in collaboration with luxury swimwear brand Orlebar Brown to showcase the Super 3’s lengthy list of personalisation options with a number of bespoke design touches and finishes inside and out.

It starts with the exterior colour, which is a unique pastel beige. The Super 3 by Orlebar Brown also features custom-made, laser-cut geometric pattern luggage racks, which use red bungee chords. These are fitted to the sides of the bodywork. Subtle Orlebar Brown logos are found on the outside too, including on the spotlight covers.

However, this Super 3 has a big party trick - it has a roof of sorts. Morgan calls it a ‘bespoke sunshade canopy’, which is attached to specially adapted mounts on the flyscreens and roll hoops. It’s finished in the same Khaki Sand fabric as found in the cabin.

The material is used inside in combination with red accents and one or two more unique touches. These include a body-coloured instrument cluster, red cockpit bungee cords and a new gear knob liveried with the Orlebar Brown logo.

Morgan says that the car will tour some of Europe’s ‘most exotic’ locations over the next 12 months to promote the new brand collaboration, with the first stop close to home in Wales.
