Meguiar’s has got the solution to spending hours polishing and waxing your car this summer. The cleaning company has just expanded its popular Gold Class range with the addition of Premium Quik Wax.

Meguiar’s claims it delivers a quick, dark, wet-look shine on any colour paint – in particular on black cars – with hardly any effort.

Simply mist on and wipe off, and with carnauba in the formula, the company says you should be able to protect your whole car in less than 15 minutes – as you don’t have to leave the wax to cure and there’s no hard formula to buff off.

Yet despite being easy to use, Premium Quik Wax claims to deliver the same protection as more expensive and labour-intensive products such as paste waxes.

The formula shouldn’t leave white residue on plastic or trim, and unlike most waxes, it can be applied when your car’s bodywork is warm and in direct sunlight. A 473ml spray bottle costs £10.99.
