Gardena Cleansystem

Car wash hose set ready to brush up

Not everyone wants to use a powerful pressure washer when cleaning their car. But sometimes, you need more than a bucket and sponge.

The new Gardena Cleansystem fixes to your garden hose, giving more bite due to its brush head and constant water flow.

While ultimate flow is down to system pressure, an adjuster lets you stop it. And when using the shampoo tablets supplied, you can switch between detergent and rinse water.

However, these doses were too small to wash our average-sized car fully. And while the brush head could be twisted at different angles, the rigid lance was restrictive – and dropping the brush into dirt is bad news.

Nevertheless, this is a good idea, and could be ideal for occasional car care if you’ve no access to a pressure washer.
