As you would expect for this kind of money, you get a programmable gauge with this Halfords product, but it doesn’t have a tread depth gauge. Uniquely in this test it has an air release, so getting the right pressure is easy once you’ve inflated the tyre. There’s an LED light and we liked the straight, shrouded chuck which made getting a seal on the valve easy.
