Just shy of £50 may seem a lot to pay for a set of pliers that doesn’t come with a case, but these German-made Knipex pliers are great to use and ooze quality. The dual-compound handles have grippy inserts just where you need them and the rounded handles fit the hand well and provide good insulation. No surprise that it scored well in the cutting tests and survived the bolt test.
