Even though it has a super-low price – undercutting the Clarke – we can’t make a case for this Silverline set. It’s very similar to the Clarke, but all the tools are 160mm long, including the combination pliers. Our tests were hard going, with the cutters struggling to make clean incisions on our paper and cable. The pliers don’t have a pipe holder and the serrated section marked easily.
