There’s a 12V input for powering a sat-nav as well, and the long, coiled cable means this gadget is suitable for any kind of car – it’ll stretch far enough, no matter where your 12V socket is located.

The only way to mount this permanently is with the supplied sticky pad, which is a shame, plus there’s only one light on top of the adapter to tell you if it’s plugged in. We’d prefer to see lights for each input.
