Meguiar’s Scratch X 2.0

US specialist Meguiar’s claims this is “totally safe” on all paint finishes

Meguiar’s Scratch X 2.0
Overall Auto Express rating

3.0

Best price: £10 | Size: 207ml

US specialist Meguiar’s claims this is “totally safe” on all paint finishes, and we see no reason to doubt that as it made excellent progress on our marks but without dulling the top coat. Like others here, it can be used by hand or with a dual action polisher to speed up the process. And it needs that time as, while it ended up with a shiny finish and the best attempt at the swirl, our top performers got there quicker. A good performer, but the price hurts when the results are close.
