Versatile Citrus Wash can be used prior to shampooing, as a degreaser and bug shifter. It can also be diluted up to 400:1, making it easier on the pocket and justifying its £8 price tag – second most expensive on test, behind the Meguiar’s cleaner. Used neat through the wide, fine trigger spray, it made decent progress on our bugs. But we were alarmed to read that it could leave permanent damage if allowed to dry before rinsing. Still, if you ensure you use the Autobrite cleaner correctly, it’s good value.
