The developer claims Dash Cam can be used to fight traffic tickets, and this is the most popular download on the iOS App Store. But having used it, this surprises us. While the settings menu is easy to navigate and customise, the home menu sits at the bottom of the screen and the buttons are tricky to press. Like the other apps on test, it can take stills and has a map to correlate footage with location. Video recording stops if you take a call and there’s no local storage, although you can connect it to YouTube.
