While Super Alloy Cleaner is unashamedly old school, Wonder Wheels has joined many rivals by adopting the new ‘purple’ formula for delicate surfaces with Hot Wheels. Yet unlike the Bilt Hamber, this has a breath-catching stench. If you can live with that, you’re rewarded with an effective cleaner which turns a deep dark red as it works on grime. It fared better once it was worked with the brush, but still made decent progress in the rinse-only test.
