Gallery: Cholmondeley Pageant of Power

Some of the highlights from this year's Cholmondeley Pageant of Power

Today was the first day of the 2012 Cholmondeley Pageant of Power, the Goodwood-a-like event held in the North of England that brings together some of the most exotic cars for timed laps on the 1.2-mile circuit.

Over the weekend they’ll all be competing to set a new lap record. The current holder is Nikki Faulkner in a Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera LP570-4. And with the wet weather looking set to stay, it might just hold on to that record for another year.
