Bespoke McLaren 720S MSO revealed at Pebble Beach

One-off McLaren 720S unveiled at the exclusive Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance with purple paint and white leather

McLaren has revealed a one-off MSO McLaren 720S at the exclusive Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance event in California.

The brand’s Special Operations division has painted the customer commissioned 720S in Fux Fuchsia, a bright purple colour not dissimilar to the famous Rubystone Red produced by Porsche for its 964 RS in 1992.

This one-off customer 720S also features lightweight black alloy wheels with Fux Fuchsia detailing, as well as subtle flashes on the steering wheel, rear-view mirror and doors. These hints of body matching paint complement the white leather interior. In addition, MSO has finished the exhaust tips in Stealth grey and carbon fibre trim parts to complete the look.

This unique colour combination has been commissioned by a long-term McLaren customer and well-known car collector, Michael Fux. The Philanthropist and entrepreneur is said to own a collection worth over $55m (£42.7m), including a 12C in McLaren Orange, a bespoke 12C Spider in purple and a P1 hypercar in a unique shade of green.

No price has been revealed, but with the standard 720S costing £208,600, this MSO example is likely to have cost Mr Fux considerably more. The MSO McLaren 720S will be revealed on the public at Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance on the Concept Lawn on Sunday.
