Porsche 911 GT3 RS review - pictures

The Porsche 911 GT3 RS is the brand's most hardcore, track-focused 911. 

It's powered by a 4.0-litre flat six engine producing 493bhp. 

Inside, there are thinner door cards, strap door pulls, less sound deadening and polycarbonate rear and side windows to help reduce weight. 

More tell-tale signs of the GT3 RS's track-focused nature can be found inside thanks to racing seats and a rollbars. 

On the road, the noise is incredible, its insanely quick and steering response is immediate. 

The wider body is taken from the 911 Turbo, while the rear wing is more than just a hint a to the car's sporting pretentions. It's not just for show, though, as all the styling tweaks have a function. 

The low nose can be lifted with an optional lifting kit. 

The 4.0-litre flat six engine is an upgrade from the standard 3.8-litre engine.
