The last batch of right-hand-drive Saab 9-3 Convertibles has arrived in the UK and is on sale now.

The 9-3 Convertibles, which will have sentimental value for enthusiasts, will be better equipped than any before. All models feature additional gear, with three trim specs including SE, Aero and Independence Edition among the last load.

The Independence Edition is based on the Aero, and is powered by a 180bhp 1.9 TTiD twin-turbodiesel mated to a six-speed automatic. It has unique Amber paint, 18-inch alloy wheels and carbon-look leather seats with orange detailing. Seven of these special editions make up the final batch, joining seven others that have already been sold in the UK.

Other cars coming to the UK are powered by the firm's 2.0-litre petrol engine with 163hp or 220bhp. All will feature alloy wheels, heated leather front seats with active head restraints, Park Assist, Bluetooth, ESP and six airbags.

Saab Parts UK has 87 dealers across the UK and says that interested parties should visit saab.co.uk to register their interest. The Saab 9-3 Convertible starts from £22,750.
