Mazda 3 and 5 Venture Edition models add sporty styling and more kit

New special-edition versions of the Mazda 3 and 5 have been introduced, boasting bigger alloys and more equipment than the TS2 models on which they’re based.

The Mazda 3 Venture Edition is available with a 103bhp 1.6-litre petrol engine or a 113bhp 1.6-litre diesel. It comes fitted with 17-inch alloy wheels, a new roof spoiler, side skirts, a sports grille and privacy glass. Inside, it gets sports seats, iPod connectivity and a TomTom sat-nav.

The Mazda 5 Venture Edition is available with the same 113bhp 1.6-litre diesel or a 148bhp 2.0-litre petrol engine. Again based on the TS2 model, this version gets special 16-inch alloys, a dark front grille, side skirts, a roof spoiler and front fog lights. On the inside, there's a TomTom sat-nav, iPod connectivity and piano black centre console trim.

The Mazda 3 Venture Edition starts from £17,495 - which is an extra £500 over the TS2 model - while the Mazda 5 special starts from £19,995.
