This is the new, upgraded Mazda 3 MPS. The range-topping hot hatch now features gunmetal grey 18-inch alloy wheels and gloss black trim for the inner roof spoiler, door mirror caps and lower rear bumper.
The Mazda 3 MPS is still powered by the 256bhp 2.3-litre Turbo petrol engine, which drives the front wheels via a six-speed manual transmission. All cars feature a limited slip differential.
The upgraded Mazda 3 MPS will be available in a choice of four colours – Aluminium Silver, Black Mica, Crystal White and Velocity Red. It’s on sale now, with the same £23,995 price-tag as before.
Mazda has also tweaked the rest of the Mazda 3 range. Three Tamura models now start the range, costing between £15,995 and £17,495, then there are two Venture models – the petrol version costs £17,495 and the diesel £18,995. There is now just one Sport Nav diesel, which starts at £20,995.
