Engineers at Hyundai haven’t only been working on the new Coupé seen in our Spyshots section. They have also turned their attention to the firm’s award-winning Santa Fe SUV – and it’s now better value, with the launch of this model featuring up to £1,200 of extra kit.

The Limited is powered by a 148bhp 2.2-litre diesel, and has aluminium running boards, black wheelarch trim, a mesh front grille and unique badging. There’s also privacy glass from the B-pillar back, plus reverse parking sensors.

Inside, additional kit includes leather trim, a seven-speaker audio system, air-conditioning and an electric driver’s seat. Safety features such as ESP stability control, side-impact bars, traction control and twin front and side airbags come as standard, too.

Buyers of the new car can choose between the five-seater, at £23,795, or the £24,895 seven-seater. Both come with five-speed manual boxes, although automatic versions are available, at £25,195 and £26,295 respectively.

The Limited is being introduced after bosses decided to group together some of the most popular accessories on the Santa Fe. But demand will be strong, with only 400 cars on offer at the launch next month.
