As well as the new Clio, the latest Scenic is out in the open! We’ve spied the Renault MPV totally undisguised, ahead of its debut at next month’s Geneva Motor Show. It’s easy to see the similarities with the new Mégane, especially at the front, with the brushed aluminium inserts and headlamps stretching up the bonnet.
At the rear, the five-seater we scooped has a conventional upright light cluster; the seven-seat Grand Scenic – also set for Geneva – gets boomerang tail-lamps. Under the bonnet, 1.5-litre diesels are likely to be the most popular engine choice.
Innovative storage areas will ensure class-leading versatility, while the Grand gets hideaway rear seats. Prices should start at £14,500 for the five-seater, with the seven-seater from £16,000.
