Special edition Peugeot 208 Style is now on sale, featuring extra kit including a panoramic sunroof

Peugeot has announced full details for the special edition 208 Style, which starts from £13,445 for the three-door and rises to £14,045 for the five-door.

On sale now and expected to arrive in showrooms by June, the new supermini gains additional standard kit over the Active trim level it’s based on, such as a panoramic glass sunroof, leather-finish steering wheel, chrome door mirrors, new seat trim and Style badging.

Plus, Peugeot has also fitted extra technology like sat-nav and parking sensors.

The extra equipment would cost £1,400 when fitted as optional extras, but the Style costs just £750 more than the equivalent Active model.

You also get a choice of three engines with varying outputs: a PureTech 1.2-litre VTI petrol unit, a 1.4-litre HDI diesel, or a 1.6-litre e-HDI Stop & Start.

I like the new Peugeot 208 Style that has gone on sale

How ironic giving this thing the name 'Style'! Anything but! Looks worse than the base model!

Don't forget to mention the LED daytime running lights which also come as standard as well as the other special edition: Rolland Garros.

Not really. This one gets LED DRLs, frong fogs and the option of 16" wheels. The base Access model doesn't get any of this.
