Volkswagen were busy, with the Atlas SUV, Passat GT and e-Golf all making their public debuts in LA.

The much-anticipated Alfa Romeo Stelvio was finally uncovered, hitting LA in Quadrifoglio form.
The Stelvio is Alfa Romeo's first ever SUV, and it's due to go on sale from around £35,000 when it arrives in the UK early next year.

<span>The Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio will rival the Porsche Macan Turbo and Mercedes-AMG GLC 63 and will sprint from 0-62mph in 3.9 seconds, hitting 177mph.</span>
We've already driven the all-new Audi Q5, but it is set to be open of the German brand's most important models and it was on show in LA.

With the new A5 range on the way, Audi used the LA Motor Show to showcase the upcoming S5 Sportback.
The BMW M760i was first show at Geneva, but it made another appearance at LA this year.

A range of BMW iPerformance plug-in hybrid and all-electric models were on display in LA.
Buick's Avista was on the stands. The American company descirbes the concept will "capture the spirit of the perfect drive".

We've already seen the futuristic Cadillac Escala concept before, but it still stunned onlookers in LA.
The Escala concept features a<span> traditional 4.2-litre V8, but everything else about the car provides a vision into Cadillac's future.</span>

The Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 was revealed as a concept back in 2014, but a production-ready model was uncovered at LA this year.
Honda's focus was on the new 'warm' Civic Si, which is likely to be badged Type S when it arrives in the UK.

The Infiniti Q60 Neiman Marcus Limited Edition certainly caught the eye. Named after the luxury American department store, it has a 3.0-litre biturbo V6 and comes with a hefty $63,000 price tag.
The stunning Jaguar I-Pace was one of the first cars to be unveiled at this year's show.

The I-Pace was revealed in concept form, but Jaguar have said that it will closely match the look of the production car.
The Jaguar I-Pace will likely go on sale in 2018 and is expected to cost in the region of £55,000.

Jaguar say the all-electric I-Pace SUV will have a range of at least 300 miles.
The I-Pace will also boast 395bhp and be capable of sprinting from 0-62mph in around 4.0 seconds.

<span>A 90kWh lithium ion battery provides the power in the I-Pace, and it sits between the axles, driving two rare earth magnetic electric motors.</span>
Jaguar also revealed the first of nine brand new XKSS D-Types, all of which will be built to 1957 specification.

Lamborghini announced a RWD drive version of the Huracan, which joins the t<span>wo- and four-wheel drive coupe models.</span>
<span>Using the same 5.2-litre V10 engine with 572bhp, the RWD Huracan sprints from 0-62mph in just 3.6 seconds, with a top speed of 198mph.</span>

Mazda's all-new CX-5 was one of the biggest unveilings at the 2016 LA Motor Show.
The new CX-5 may look similar to its predecessor, but Mazda say there have been major changes under the skin.

Having made its debut at LA, the new Mazda CX-5 is likely to arrive in the UK in the middle of 2017, priced from around £23,500.

As well as the new CX-5, Mazda also used the LA Motor Show to unveil this stunning<span> RT24-P prototype endurance racer.</span>

Mercedes showed they are ready to take on the BMW M5 and Audi RS6 in LA with the blistering E 63.
The Mercedes-AMG E 63 and E 63 S boast <span>563bhp and 604bhp respectively despite the drop in engine size from a <span>5.5-litre twin-turbo V8 to a smaller 4.0-litre unit.</span></span>

The latest Mercedes-Maybach creation was on show in LA. Based on the S65 Cabriolet, the S650 is set to rival the Rolls-Royce Dawn.

<span>Underneath the Volkswagen Passat GT's cosmetic tweaks is a 276bhp 3.6-litre TSI VR6.</span>
