Audi has shown off its latest flagship concept, the Q8 SUV.
<span>The Q8 concept is powered by a 3.0-litre TFSI engine paired with an electric motor, which combined develops 438bhp and 700Nm of torque.</span>
It's designed to compete with the likes of the Mercedes GLE Coupe and BMW X6.
It will be joined by an SQ8 powered by Audi's 4.0-litre V8 diesel.
Also shown off at the Detroit show was the S5 Convertible - a souped up version of the A5 Convertible.
The car packs the same 349bhp 3.0-litre engine as the S5 coupe.
All that power should give the S5 Convertible very similar performance to the Coupe.
Also on show was the latest hot SUV from Audi's stables - the SQ5.
Like the S4 and S5 it uses a 3.0-litre turbocharged V6 engine producing 349bhp.
The SQ5 will replace the current SQ5 TDI Plus, which uses a 335bhp diesel engine.
Detroit also marks the motor show debut for the all-new BMW 5 Series.
The 5 Series is set to arrive in UK showrooms next month, and <span>will start from £36,025.</span>

Chinese manufacturer GAC was out in force, with the full range of its cars on show.
This model is a Trumpchi GS7, but it won't be coming to Europe.
Kia had an unexpected surprise on its stand - the Stinger GT Concept.
The Stinger GT is a four-door coupe which Kia says will rival the best from Audi and BMW for driving pleasure.
The Stinger GT uses a 3.5 litre V6 engine with a power output of 345bhp.
The car also offers rear-wheel drive, a first for a contemporary Kia.
Lexus used the Detroit show to make a big debut - the latest LS saloon.
The luxury model takes styling cues from the new LC coupe.
The LS has a luxurious interior and will be offered with hybrid powertrains.
Infiniti is very popular in the US, which could be why the brand has chosen Detroit to preview the QX50 Concept.
The QX50 Concept is Infiniti's next step towards a production model.
The concept uses Infiniti's brand-new variable compression petrol engines for superior economy.
Mercedes has also launched a special 'Night Edition' of the already mysterious S-Class Coupe.
The brand also chose Detroit to exhibit the E-Class Coupe for the first time.
The sleek-looking coupe will use the same engine range as the saloon.
A facelift for the GLA was also previewed.
The facelifted model is higher off the ground for a more crossover look and features mild styling tweaks.
The Nissan Vmotion 2.0 concept is low, long and sleek, and Nissan says it previews the brand's autonomous future.
To that end it's packed with tech including 'ProPILOT' autonomous driving.
It also features dramatic suicide rear doors.
After appearing at the Consumer Electronics Show, Rinspeed moved the Oasis to Detroit.
The Oasis is a self-driving, ride-sharing concept car, that even features a small garden on the dash.
One of the biggest offerings was Volkswagen's I.D. Buzz concept - so far the fifth Microbus concept the company has produced.
The car is focused on ride-sharing, and features a versatile interior and fully autonomous driving modes.
The steering wheel can retract fully into the dashboard.
VW also showed off a seven-seat version of the Tiguan, along the same lines as the old Nissan Qashqai +2.
