RAC HazardLight review

We test the new emergency light for roadside rescue from RAC

Price: £25 (with replaceable battery); £29.99 (with rechargeable battery)

Contact: 01234 834720, www.personalhazardlight.co.uk

Worried that other drivers won’t see your hazard warning lights if you break down? The RAC HazardLight could be for you.

It has 16 super-bright LEDs, which are said to be visible from over half a mile away in the dark, housed in a four-inch plastic case.

The light is magnetic so you can stick it to your bonnet, boot, roof or door. And as it’s also waterproof and crushproof, you can leave it on the road to alert other drivers. Plus, an accessory kit is available to attach the HazardLight to your clothing.

The light comes in red, blue, white or yellow, while a version with a rechargeable battery is £29.99; the HazardLight with a replaceable battery is £25.

Delivery is extra – but we’ve teamed up with the RAC to offer 20 per cent off. Just use the code AEreader when you buy online, and you can get a £25 HazardLight delivered for £22.94.
