CarPlan dash wipes review

We test the new wipes from CarPLan that clean dust from your dashboard

CarPlan dash wipes

A pack of wipes is all you need to clean dust from your dashboard this winter, thanks to CarPlan. The company has launched two versions: the orange pack will leave a shiny finish and a citrus smell, while the green pack we tested leaves a matt finish and the smell of apples.

The pack is easily stored in a door bin or glovebox, with a resealable label keeping the wipes moist. Dust in our car had left the trim looking grey, but the wipes – each measures 22.5cm by 19.5cm – soon shifted this. They also removed a few tough scuff marks on the dash and didn’t smear at all.

Our only criticism is that the wipes can’t be reused. We think you could easily clean your dash with one that’s half the size, but you end up throwing these away before all their cleaning power is fully used up – so they don’t represent great value for money.

Verdict

Rating: ★★★★
What is it?
Wipes to clean your dashboard, that leave a matt or shiny finish.
What's good?
The wipes are large, sweet-smelling and comfortably moist enough to shift stubborn dirt, pack is easy to store..
What's bad?
There are only 15 per pack, you need to dispose of them after use, could be better value for money..
