A cat's cradle of straps meant the Dartmoor took some untangling before we even got near the car. Still, the clips were easy to slot in place, and once tightened, the rack stayed firmly attached. There are no clips to hold the bikes (up to three), as this relies on straps, and unlike the high-level Snowdon, it obscured the number plate enough to need a board.
